Aloca Education Program 2008

IMAGINE...CREATE...INSPIRE…

Welcome to the Alcoa Education Program 2008

Geelong Performing Arts Centre is committed to making the Geelong region renowned for its creativity, energy and engagement of the arts.

In an effort to introduce Geelong’s youth to the world of arts, Geelong Performing Arts Centre (GPAC) formed a partnership with AlcoaPointHenry and developed the Geelong Performing Arts Centre Alcoa Education Program.

Established in 2003, The Geelong Performing Arts Centre Alcoa Education Program provides annual theatre performances, curriculum support, skill development opportunities and festivals for students and teachers from primary and secondary schools across the region.

We look forward to a year that will stimulate, inspire and challenge you and your students.
Education in The Arts engages students in learning; learning about themselves, learning about others and learning about their world. This years Alcoa Education Program provides opportunities for students to develop knowledge and skills, explore technologies, forms and processes, engage in critical and creative thinking and to explore ideas through products and performances.
