Thursday, November 29, 2007
December promises to be a hugely entertaining month at GPAC, and now an already jam-packed calendar adds three very special events: the launch of the Alcoa Theatre Season for 2008; the launch of the Geelong Living Library; and an exclusive preview of Essential Theatre's production of 'Twelfth Night'.
After a
tremendously successful 2007, GPAC is ready to unveil Alcoa Theatre Season 2008, promising another diverse and exhilarating range of musicals, comedies, drama and dance from the best companies in Australia.

The Living Library
is like a normal library, however the books in the living library are
people representing groups frequently confronted with prejudices and
stereotypes that are often discriminated against or socially excluded. Hosted by Jane Clifton and featuring a wonderful line-up of guests, this launch will be a cultural event not to be missed.

Australia from January through to April 2008 to some of the country’s
most spectacular wineries, but on December 13th let the cast of nine professional actors transport you to the land of Illyria right in the comforts of the Blakiston Theatre.
