Monday, June 04, 2007
Presented by the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, the ninth massive Comedy Festival Roadshow is packing up the Melbourne camp and setting off to take Australia (and beyond) by storm, making a stop at GPAC on June 23.
Featuring a roll call of the most fabulously funny home-grown comedians and overseas guest artists fresh from the 2007 Melbourne International Comedy Festival, the Roadshow delivers a slick, sophisticated, unpredictable, entertaining and outrageous night out to comedy fans all over this wide brown land.

From Albury to Alice, Cairns to Karratha,  Hobart to Horsham - and all the way to Singapore - all the fun of the 2007 Roadshow will roll into the Ford Theatre for a night of fantastic energy, laughter and entertainment.

This year's touring cast will include Mickey D, Claire Hooper, Al Pitcher, Anthony Menchetti, Josh Earl, and Oliver Clark, with more to be announced shortly.

General Manager of GPAC, Sally Beck, is looking forward to a night of great comedy.

"To have some of the funniest acts from this year's Melbourne Comedy Festival coming to GPAC is just brilliant," Ms Beck said. "It's a great opportunity for the people of Geelong to witness some world-class comedians at the peak of their powers."
