Privacy Policy

GPAC respects the privacy of all its customers.

How is personal information collected?

GPAC offers our customers the ability to purchase tickets by telephone or in person at our Box Office. Collection will occur at the time you make a purchase, ask to receive marketing material from us, or when you join our email mailing list through our website.

What personal information does GPAC collect, and why?

When you purchase tickets from GPAC we need to collect personal information about you. This includes your name, address, telephone number and, where applicable, credit card details. We collect this information so we can charge you for your tickets and/or contact you in the case of an event cancellation, to notify change of event details or replacement of lost tickets. When you transact with GPAC you are assigned a customer number, this number is unique to GPAC's ticketing system and cannot be data matched with another company.

Will personal information be given to anyone else?

GPAC will not sell, rent or trade personal information about you to or with third parties. When transacting with GPAC you will be asked whether you wish to receive marketing material from us. You will also be asked if you consent to your name and address details being passed on to the promoters of performances you book for. On occasion, show presenters will request details of the customers who have bought tickets to their shows so that they can provide you with promotional material about upcoming events. If the promoter happens to be based outside Victoria, details will only be released where privacy is protected under standards similar to those in Victoria.
