Geelong Performing Arts Centre is the dynamic heart for performing arts in the region and is seeking suitably enthusiastic people to join our team.

Theatre Technicians

Part-time and casual positions
Suitable applicants will be able to demonstrate all or some of the following attributes:
• Excellent communication and problem solving skills
• Strong work ethic and the ability to work autonomously
• Experience with entertainment industry equipment
• Knowledge of safe working procedures within the entertainment industry

Formal  qualifications (ie Certificates in Entertainment) would be highly regarded however not essential.

General Maintenance
12 month fixed term position - 15 hours minimum per week
Suitable applicants will be able to demonstrate:
• Ability to carry out general building repairs and  maintenance

• Strong work ethic and the ability to work autonomously
• Effective communication with co-workers and contractors
• Knowledge of safe work procedures and occupational health and safety standards

Formal qualifications in OH&S or a trade would be highly regarded however not essential.

Terms and conditions are in accordance with the GPAC Enterprise Agreement.
