The Merry June Bronhill
June Bronhill was an Australian icon of opera, operetta and musical theatre as well as comedy and television. This show is a concert tribute to the career of June Bronhill, from her early days in Broken Hill (hence Bronhill) to her stellar career in Europe, UK and Australia.
Highlights will include songs from The Sound of Music, composers Ivor Novello, Noel Coward and of course The Merry Widow as well as many more. This fascinating concert stars two coloratura Sopranos, Alison Rae Jones and Amy Letts, combined with Chris McKenna as compere and musical direction by Robyn Wommersley.
