Off-beat story of dance and romance in Syncopation
A smash-hit fusion of comedy, drama, romance and ballroom dancing, Syncopation is the next sensational production in GPAC's 2012 Alcoa Theatre Season in partnership with Deakin University.This heart-warming production is choreographed by Dancing with the Stars' Mark Hodge, under the direction of Broadway's Tony Award-nominated Stephen Lloyd Helper.

Children’s classic comes to life on stage for a new generation
Young audiences are invited to enter the fantastic world of Beatrix Potter with Happy Birthday Peter Rabbit, marking 110 years of the popular children's character. Presented as part of GPAC's Family Magic program, this mischievous new musical from the producers of Possum Magic, Wombat Stew and My Grandma Lived in Gooligulch will delight all ages.

Treasure Island

Pirates, buried treasure, sword fights, treasure maps, muskets!  Join twelve year old Jim Hawkins on his hunt for buried treasure. But watch out . . . . there are double-crossing pirates all around, led by the notorious Long John Silver. Will Jim make it from his home in a small seaside village to the mysterious Treasure Island? 

Queensland Theatre Company and Matrix Theatre bring you this classic children's story, in a new adaptation with sixteen characters and two actors.  

A magical coming of age story, and the original classic pirate tale, Treasure Island explores themes of adventure and escapism, coming of age, role models and overcoming fears.  A magical theatrical experience for the whole family.
