Off-beat story of dance and romance in Syncopation
A smash-hit fusion of comedy, drama, romance and ballroom dancing, Syncopation is the next sensational production in GPAC's 2012 Alcoa Theatre Season in partnership with Deakin University.This heart-warming production is choreographed by Dancing with the Stars' Mark Hodge, under the direction of Broadway's Tony Award-nominated Stephen Lloyd Helper.

Children’s classic comes to life on stage for a new generation
Young audiences are invited to enter the fantastic world of Beatrix Potter with Happy Birthday Peter Rabbit, marking 110 years of the popular children's character. Presented as part of GPAC's Family Magic program, this mischievous new musical from the producers of Possum Magic, Wombat Stew and My Grandma Lived in Gooligulch will delight all ages.

The Happiest Show On Earth

In this engaging vaudevillian show for 4-8 year olds, Doctor Smith shares the secrets of his little blue bottle of magic, whilst entertaining us with the Fabulous Flea Circus, the Sensational Sharp Shooting Carrots, the Bottled-Magic Machine, the Hilarious Happ-o-meter and a Lighter-Than-Air Levitation Act that goes embarrassingly wrong. Dorrie and a ventriloquist doll named Danny, save the day.

Please join us in the foyer directly after the show. Translate the magic of theatre as you 'Kid Around' creating characters, sound collages, puppets and drawings that bring the stories alive from the stage to foyer! Participation is free.
