Poppykettle Children's Festival

The GPAC Poppykettle Children's Festival is a two day multi-arts event that encourages children to celebrate the arts. The Festival aims to ignite the imagination of Kindergarten and Primary aged children by giving them access to a range of activities which will stimulate their minds, engage their bodies and fuel their creative expression.

Kinder Day Thursday 27th October
Celebrating The Voyage of the Poppykettle by Robert Ingpen, Kinder Day is for pre-school aged children and their families.
Children will be encouraged to play, make, create and laugh as they join in a range of free activities run by kindergartens and preschools from across the region.

Primary Day Friday 28th October
Poppykettle Primary Day gives Primary aged children access to a range of arts based workshops and performances that will stir their creativity, engage their bodies and extend their minds. Schools enroll to participate in this day at a cost of $4.50 per child. Each school then receives their own timetable for the day.
