The Sound of Music
The Sound of Music was the final collaboration between composer Richard Rodgers and lyricist Oscar Hammerstein II and is based on the memoir of Maria Von Trapp, The story of the Trapp Family Singers. Regarded as the world's most beloved musical, the Sound of Music celebrated it's 50th anniversary production in 2009 and its' ongoing popularity will ensure that productions of the Sound of Music continue to be staged for many years to come.
