Off-beat story of dance and romance in Syncopation
A smash-hit fusion of comedy, drama, romance and ballroom dancing, Syncopation is the next sensational production in GPAC's 2012 Alcoa Theatre Season in partnership with Deakin University.This heart-warming production is choreographed by Dancing with the Stars' Mark Hodge, under the direction of Broadway's Tony Award-nominated Stephen Lloyd Helper.

Children’s classic comes to life on stage for a new generation
Young audiences are invited to enter the fantastic world of Beatrix Potter with Happy Birthday Peter Rabbit, marking 110 years of the popular children's character. Presented as part of GPAC's Family Magic program, this mischievous new musical from the producers of Possum Magic, Wombat Stew and My Grandma Lived in Gooligulch will delight all ages.

The Promoter of "THE PLATTERS and The Drifters" has advised that due to serious health problems, which has seen Billy Washington of The Drifters hospitalised, he will be unable to be part of "The Drifters" when they support "THE PLATTERS" at the Arts Centre on Thursday 22nd March. The Promoter apologises for any inconvenience this may cause the general public.

With hits including Only You, The Great Pretender, Smoke Gets In Your Eyes and many more, The Platters garnered 16 Gold Records and attained international fame and immortality through the romantic ballads that continue to be played and loved all over the world.

The Drifters are an institution, having provided the soundtrack for a generation with more than a decade of hits and classics like Under The Boardwalk, Save The Last Dance For Me and Up On The Roof.

Syncopation - Henry Ribolow is a Jewish meatpacker obsessed with becoming a ballroom dancer and is desperately seeking a dance partner. Anna Bianchi, an Italian Catholic seamstress, is unsatisfied with her life until she spots a curious ad in the paper: “Give your life a lift. Wanted: A dance partner to dance for royalty.”
