Off-beat story of dance and romance in Syncopation
A smash-hit fusion of comedy, drama, romance and ballroom dancing, Syncopation is the next sensational production in GPAC's 2012 Alcoa Theatre Season in partnership with Deakin University.This heart-warming production is choreographed by Dancing with the Stars' Mark Hodge, under the direction of Broadway's Tony Award-nominated Stephen Lloyd Helper.

Children’s classic comes to life on stage for a new generation
Young audiences are invited to enter the fantastic world of Beatrix Potter with Happy Birthday Peter Rabbit, marking 110 years of the popular children's character. Presented as part of GPAC's Family Magic program, this mischievous new musical from the producers of Possum Magic, Wombat Stew and My Grandma Lived in Gooligulch will delight all ages.

2011 Alcoa Theatre Season Launch

The 2011 Alcoa Theatre Season program is overwhelmingly about great storytelling. Nine incredible stories.

We start the season with a story about love told entirely through a series of letters. We close with the deeply moving narrative about our country seen through the eyes of Australian watercolourist Albert Namatjira. In between, there are stories that will touch your heart and challenge your mind.
