Off-beat story of dance and romance in Syncopation
A smash-hit fusion of comedy, drama, romance and ballroom dancing, Syncopation is the next sensational production in GPAC's 2012 Alcoa Theatre Season in partnership with Deakin University.This heart-warming production is choreographed by Dancing with the Stars' Mark Hodge, under the direction of Broadway's Tony Award-nominated Stephen Lloyd Helper.

Children’s classic comes to life on stage for a new generation
Young audiences are invited to enter the fantastic world of Beatrix Potter with Happy Birthday Peter Rabbit, marking 110 years of the popular children's character. Presented as part of GPAC's Family Magic program, this mischievous new musical from the producers of Possum Magic, Wombat Stew and My Grandma Lived in Gooligulch will delight all ages.

Music In The Gardens 2012 - Ricketty Bridge

Ricketty Bridge are a multi instrumental, multicultural, accoustic crossover band which performs an exuberant blend of contemporary and traditional folk / world music.

Singing in six languages they will take you on a global journey: from Klezmer to celtic, chanson to country, Europe to Mid East. Octave mandolin, accordion, melodeon, renaissance recorders, gaita (spanish pipes), fiddle, saxophone, dumbek & double bass are just some of the instruments this warm hearted band will entertain you with.

Ricketty Bridge is appearing for the first time at Music in the Gardens.
