Mary Duff In Concert

With Special Guest Straalen McCallum

Ireland's most popular female vocalist, Mary Duff is back in Australia, performing live at The Playhouse on August 12 at 8.00pm.

As time goes by Mary Duff's career seems to go from strength to strength, and as the salutation and success continue to roll in for the genuinely charismatic and warm Irish singer, there seems little sign of the celebrated triumphs slowing down. Quite the opposite in fact, as she is about to enter, what is shaping up to be, one of the most exciting phases of her career.

Mary auditioned for and was offered, the special guest spot on Daniel O'Donnell's first UK concert tour and 15 years later, the rest, as the saying goes, is history. The many worldwide tours and successful recordings with Daniel have ensured Mary Duff has become a highly successful performer in her own right.

Mary has numerous music awards to her name including 'Best Female Vocalist' from the British Country Music Awards and 'Best Female Solo Artist' from the Annual Irish World Awards. Her solo recordings are extremely successful in the UK and Ireland, continually charting in the UK Top 50. Not bad for a small country girl from Ireland, whose wonderfully emotive, yet quietly powerful voice, was discovered by her father quite by accident when she was only twelve years old!
With chart topping albums, worldwide tours and the highly popular television appearances, it would be of little surprise to see the name Mary Duff scaling even greater heights.

Appearing live with Mary on the Australian Tour will be a very special guest, Straalen McCallum who at 12 years of age, is the youngest act ever to have signed to Sony Music. Straalen is a young upcoming and unique talent with a beautiful pitch perfect voice.
