International sensation Giampaolo Di Rosa, Professor of Organ from Rome, will be in concert on Sunday 18th September at 3.00 pm at the Basilica. Professor Di Rosa is respected throughout the world and enjoys a flourishing international career. He will visit Geelong as part of his 2011 world tour. He is a remarkable musician, an established performer, composer, researcher, improviser and teacher and a dedicated lecturer at his university. The program will include works by Bach, Guilmant and Widor and some of Di Rosa's own compositions. As well, this wonderful organist, famous for his personal approach to improvisation, will delight the audience with improvisations on a passage of music given to him on the day.
