Geelong Chamber Music Society Concert Series 2010

Welcome to the 2010 Concert Series

I am delighted to bring you news of the program of five concerts to be presented by the Geelong Chamber Music Society in 2010.

Our goals are to bring the best chamber orchestras and ensembles to Geelong audiences, to support young musicians in their careers and to inspire and educate our own students.

We have chosen to open our season with a concert by the Raga Dolls Salon Orchestra in March. This is followed by a concert by the renowned Melbourne Chamber Orchestra in May, a concert by the piano duo Igor Machlak and Olga Kharitonova in July, and a Showcase by the Australian National Academy of Music in September. The season will end with a second concert by the Melbourne Chamber Orchestra in October.

Do subscribe to the whole series or attend some of the concerts. Encourage your friends to do the same. We are offering a full subscription (five concerts) with a free guest voucher so you can introduce a friend to a concert. We are also offering a "select four" concert subscription. If you wish to make a booking at a discount for a group of six or more adults for a concert, please contact the secretary (03 5243 6931).

We are grateful to our supporters and advertisers, particularly the City of Greater Geelong for support through the Community Arts Grants Program, and to members of our audience who made donations through the Australian Business Arts Foundation (AbaF) Arts Fund.

If you wish to make a donation directed to the Society, please use the links on our website (www.gcms.org.au) to the Australian Business Arts Foundation to do so, or contact the secretary for a form.
