GPAC named best presenter at annual conference
Geelong Performing Arts Centre (GPAC) has been named Australia's best venue for touring performances. The centre was presented with the Australian Performing Arts Centres Association (APACA) Drover Award for Best Presenter at the association's annual conference in Perth.

What a State We're In

It’s time to celebrate 175 years of Victoria.  To mark this significant anniversary, the Wheeler Centre takes the show on the road for four big nights across October to four big destinations.

How well do you know the past and present of Victoria? Politicians and writers, historians and TV personalities, sporting stars and local heroes come together for a lively night of banter and celebration. Under the watchful guidance of quiz-mistress extraordinaire Jane Clifton, we uncover the fascinating and surprising facts about Victoria, and celebrate this demisemiseptcentennial occasion in style.

Music In The Gardens 2012 - Hip Cats - The Hip Cats focus on American 50′s rock music culture from grassroots rockabilly to popular 50′s, through to the smoother crossovers of swing and R&B. The band is four piece with guitar, double bass, drums, sax/harmonica, with all the ‘cats’ singing.
