Online ticket purchases now easier than ever

The Geelong Performing Arts Centre (GPAC) has long been an industry leader in customer service, dedicated to providing patrons with the best, most straightforward purchasing experience possible. With online purchases becoming more and more popular in today's fast-moving society, a new addition to the GPAC website will see customers more satisfied than ever.

Where once they were reliant on automated allocation, patrons can now choose their own seats when buying tickets online - a first for any venue using the Tickets.com ticketing system.

"To be the first Tickets.com venue in the world providing this service for our customers is huge for GPAC," said General Manager Jill Smith. "This is a real endorsement for us and our dedication to customer service."

Launched in early August, the "choose your own seat" facility allows customers to pick their preferred vantage point from online interactive floorplans which show available seats for shows at all GPAC venues, from The Playhouse and Drama Theatres to Deakin's Costa Hall on the Geelong Waterfront.

With an easy-to-follow instructional interface that walks new users through the purchasing process, the innovation has already received the thumbs up from GPAC patrons.
