| CONCERT TO LAUNCH ESSENTIAL PARTNERSHIPA star-studded concert will help launch an exciting new partnership between Geelong Performing Arts Centre and local theatre company, Essential Theatre.
In a rare public performance, Geelong band, Madhouse, will take centre stage and groove the afternoon away. Special guests include leading lady of musical theatre Marina Prior, award-winning actress Libby Tanner and Geelong’s own tenor Tim McCallum.

| SHOE-HORN SONATA TELLS OF FRIENDSHIP AND SURVIVALIn 1942, 65 Australian Army nurses were trapped in Singapore when the Japanese invaded. They were the first Australian women to serve in battle...and the first to die. The Shoe-Horn Sonata, featuring Belinda Giblin and Maggie Kirkpatrick, is a play about those women and in particular, the enduring friendship of two of them, Sheila and Bridie. |
