Off-beat story of dance and romance in Syncopation
A smash-hit fusion of comedy, drama, romance and ballroom dancing, Syncopation is the next sensational production in GPAC's 2012 Alcoa Theatre Season in partnership with Deakin University.This heart-warming production is choreographed by Dancing with the Stars' Mark Hodge, under the direction of Broadway's Tony Award-nominated Stephen Lloyd Helper.

The Lady In The Van
n 1974 Alan Bennett met Miss Mary Shepherd, an elderly lady living in a van in the street near his home in London. He took pity on her and allowed her to park her van in his garden, the idea being that she would stay three months. Her stay extended to fifteen years.

Formed in 2000 as a quartet, five years ago the Raga Dolls grew into the salon orchestra of today. The Raga Dolls Salon Orchestra is a unique group of 14 musicians modeled on the small scale working orchestras that plied their trade in the early part of the 20th century.
